On May 16th, the packaging industry came together to celebrate excellence and honor the trailblazers who have significantly contributed to its growth and innovation. The New Jersey Packaging Executive’s Club (NJPEC) Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, held at the gorgeous Highlawn Pavilion in West Orange, NJ, was a night to remember. It recognized the outstanding achievements and lifelong dedication of our industry's finest, with the beautiful NYC skyline as our backdrop. And it was a particularly special evening for our team as we proudly watched our own Pattie Wexler get inducted into the Hall of Fame.

The evening kicked off with a celebratory dinner and we had the opportunity to mingle, meet the inductees and take photos. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and inspiration as we got ready to honor the stars of the night.

We had a warm welcome from NJPEC President and Wexler Packaging Sales Manager, Kristyn Shaner, followed by our lovely MC, Charlie, who doubled as a magician between inductees! The room was filled with anticipation as industry leaders, innovators, and guests gathered to celebrate the extraordinary achievements of this year's inductees.

Six exceptional individuals were inducted into the NJPEC Packaging Hall of Fame. In a delightful new twist, this year's inductees were chosen by those inducted over the previous three years, adding an extra layer of community and recognition to the process. As we mentioned, our own Pattie Wexler, President of Wexler Packaging Products; Steven Ostrower, President of The Penthouse Group; Diane Hammond, President of Packaging Beauty Corp; Sara Clasen, VP Package Development at Estee Lauder; Thomas Butkiewicz, CEO of RJTB Holdings; and last but not least, Robert Lynch, Founder & CEO of Apogee Development.

Six true leaders and visionaries in this wonderful world of packaging we’re all in. Each inductee was introduced with a heartfelt speech from someone close to them, highlighting their journey, achievements, and the profound impact they have had on the packaging world. They then took the stage to receive their awards and share their reflections and gratitude. Wexler Packaging Products had our own table where some of our team sat along with some of Pattie’s family members. It was exciting to watch our own fearless leader be honored for such an achievement.

The night ended on a high note, with a packed room and a collective commitment to driving the packaging industry toward a brighter, more sustainable future. Everything was amazing from the venue to the food, the view and more.

The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony was not just a celebration of past achievements but also an inspiration for the future, reminding us all of the incredible potential that lies within the packaging industry. We look forward to continuing this journey of innovation, creativity, and sustainability, inspired by the remarkable individuals we honored this year.
