Fernando Callejon recently joined Beckhoff USA as Product Marketing Leader. As a critical addition to the U.S. Product Management team, Callejon will refine and localize product messaging while increasing the impact of product launches. He will collaborate with the Marketing Communications department to execute campaigns geared toward the U.S. market. Callejon reports to Daymon Thompson, Director of Product Management.
“Fernando brings an impressive background in engineering as well as roles in services and product marketing in the industrial automation field,” Thompson said. “On top of his Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, he has a strong track record of improving process and value-added activities to help organizations, customers, and people grow. So, we are excited to have Fernando contribute to the continued growth of our team and to Beckhoff as a whole.”
Originally from Brazil, Callejon started his career as an R&D engineer in bank automation. He has held numerous field service, applications engineering, training, and sales roles in industries such as electronics assembly, automotive and more. In 2011, Callejon joined Omron Automation in Greater Chicago, serving as Product Manager – Machine Vision and Laser Markers and most recently Marketing Manager for the Automation Technologies Product Marketing Group.

Callejon earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with an emphasis on computer science from FEI University of São Paulo, Brazil. He has also completed multiple strategic leadership courses through the University of Wisconsin and Harvard Business School.
